The Avoidance of Becoming a Psychopath

If you really take a second and look into nature, you’ll notice that everything is moving. That movement, and everything subtly shifting, stimulates a sense of peace within your brain. That’s right. Subtle movement actually inhabits the state of peace within your mind (putting you into a micro-trance). This is just one of the many benefits of nature and how it operates. Is the consistent inconsistencies that stimulate our brain and allow it to grow and stay sharp. Nature provides that.

On the opposite end, if you go into the city, everything is stone, steel, metal, and concrete. Nothing is moving. The wind blows, and nothing moves. The only time something moves is most likely when it’s dangerous. Cars speed and zip past people walking whom you don’t know. Subtle movement helps create stability, versus rigid non-movement or dangerous rapid movement. The subtle movements of nature are designed as activation mechanisms within your psyche to put you in a specific state to live harmoniously on the Earth. Spending time in nature, looking at nature, breathing in nature, and sitting in nature realigns you to what the Earth and life actually are.
When a person lives in the city, they don’t have those specific triggers set off, so instead of inhabiting states of peace, they usually become more chaotic/unstable, whether that’s in their personal life, social circle, or within society as a whole. You will find the most violence in brutalist, city-type environments. Dog eat dog. Spending too much time in a city and out of nature could make a person become psychopathic or instill psychosis. Modern brutalism has flat, non-detailed surfaces and aesthetics. This has the ability to harshly affect the psyche, driving people insane. Derangement and disorders can happen when a person stays in the city too much.

The brutalist-style environment disassociates you from what you actually are, because every inflection of nature turns on certain signals in your internal makeup. Nature has vast detail, even to the microscopic level. We’re designed to take in the subtle details of nature. The brutalist environment of the city does not have those activation signals. Therefore, you’re never fully expressed into what you actually are. Those things are shut down, and this is why people struggle. You’ll find the most harmonious and spiritual experience out in nature. We are designed to be one with the Earth. Just because somebody lives in a box with glass around it does not mean they’re separate from nature. We are all part of the Earth. That’s why when we go out into nature, we come out a new person. You walk into the woods one way, and then seemingly you have a sense of elation coming out after you’ve gone on a hike, a stroll, or a walk.

Imagine if you were aware of this and incorporated it to its highest degree in your mental cognition. When you walk into nature, no step is the same as the last. Meaning your brain has to, at some degree, constantly stay engaged. Because your brain is constantly engaged, it stimulates the brain for growth and secures it from atrophying. This is usually why, when you go into a village or rural areas, maybe in another country, the elders are still healthy, walking, moving, and coherent, because they have to pay attention with every step. Every step has a different angle, degree, altitude, roughness, grip, and slipperiness, and they have to pay attention, which actually preserves them throughout life. As opposed to living in the city, it’s flat, zero degrees, no inclines, and if there are inclines, it’s 90-degree angle steps ascending upward. Versus nature, one step could be up and the very next step is down. This unpredictability keeps you alive.

The Life Guide and Conscious Use of Nature

When a person thinks that they are independent, they lose the coherence of being interdependent and one with the entirety of the Earth in reality. It’s usually those who are not one with nature, who have fallen into the comforts and sedatives of modern-day life with air conditioning, TV, and locking themselves in their house, who end up getting dementia. When you fulfill the purpose of why you’re here, which is to experience the Earth and its fullness, then you don’t just go for hikes, but you go to refill what you actually are. (Which is to experience the earth in its fullness)
This is a different outlook that I’ve never heard anyone describe or explain before, but when you take a step back and look at it, it’s not the hike you need; it’s the re-engagement of reality to become what you actually are. This is your resonance. This is your charge. This is what you’re actually plugged into. Even though you cannot stay in the woods, the jungle, or the forest, and you might need to come out, you’ll come out compounded, exponential, and maximized in your life-force viability to garner greater success in your activities and your daily life.
